Inner Monologue Method

Two deep aches live inside many people, and if you are one of these people, you'll know right away: the desire to tell your own true story to an audience eager to hear it, and the desire to be free from the grip of limiting, self judging, self doubting thoughts so that you can shine, be seen and heard in the ways you secretly long to.

Most people don't feed these aches and end their lives with a secret pang of unfulfillment.

But for those who do, life becomes a wondrous place, and If you feel these aches - to tell your own true story (perhaps on stage) and to free yourself from the inner critic that holds you back - I've got just the thing for you.

This fall, you have the opportunity to fulfill this dream and perform your own 10 minute play about the story of your life for an audience at rapt attention - as part of the Inner Monologue Method program. And the best part is that the process that gets you there also frees you from the clenches of your own inner critic and self-sabotaging beliefs, opening you up to the freedom you have dreamed of and ached for to be your fully expressed self in your life, work and creativity.

How Does This Process Work?

We start in September working together using the Inner Monologue Method. The first several weeks, we work to actually break down our inner monologue into the dialogue we carry inside our own heads, the dialogue that is shaping our beliefs, behaviors, and sense of self. Using character techniques from theater, we identify each voice in the dialogue, the ones that are supportive and the ones that seem to be working against us. We give each voice a name. We explore its personality and motives. We find out how it is trying to serve us. We bring this dialogue to life by writing a ten-minute play with the cast of characters in our dialogue.

You get to be seen and heard as your truly authentic self, with full creative freedom and flair. You get to perform your story, not just share it over coffee, but bring it to life with a deeply supportive audience laughing with you and crying with you and witnessing your deepest truths.

The Result?

You. Fully expressed and unleashed.

You. Finally free to be all of you.

You. Courageously living your dream to perform and express your true self, and knowing that it's only the beginning.
